Vernica here, born and raised in New York City. I grew up surrounded by graffiti-covered streets and bustling sidewalks of Manhattan. My parents emigrated from the Dominican Republic when they were young, bringing with them a rich cultural heritage that has shaped my identity.
As a child, I was always drawn to art and music, spending hours doodling in my notebook or listening to salsa beats blasting from the radio. But it wasn't until I stumbled upon the world of tattooing that I truly found my calling. There's something about taking raw skin and turning it into a canvas for self-expression that speaks to me on a deep level.
Nowadays, you can find me working as a tattoo artist in a small studio in Brooklyn, where I get to channel my creativity every day. When I'm not covered in ink and paint, you can catch me sipping coffee at my favorite café or dancing the night away with friends at some underground club.
