I was born in the late 80s, in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. My parents were hippies who ran a commune-style farm on the outskirts of town. I spent my childhood surrounded by chickens, goats, and an endless array of eccentric characters.

Growing up on that farm taught me the importance of community and living off the land. My parents instilled in me a deep love for nature, and I've always felt most at home when surrounded by trees and wildlife.

When I was 18, my family's farm burned down in a devastating wildfire. We lost everything - our home, our livelihoods, our sense of security. It was a catastrophic event that shook us to the core, but it also taught me how resilient we can be in the face of adversity.
