The first time I remember being fascinated with bodies was when I was 8 years old. I would spend hours reading the body section of my mom's health magazine and learning about the different parts that make up a human. I loved learning about how the muscles worked, how bones are connected, and all sorts of other things like that. As I got older, I started to realize just how important bodies were to our overall well-being, but also how we often take them for granted.
I have always been fascinated by the diversity of human bodies. I love looking at pictures of people from different cultures and seeing the unique features that make each person's body special. Whether it's a person with a prosthetic limb or someone who has undergone surgery to change their appearance, every body is incredible in its own way.
When I was 16, my mom had a stroke that left her with some permanent damage to her motor skills. It took me a long time to understand the full extent of what she was going through, but it ultimately taught me how important it is to take care of our bodies and to appreciate every single part of them. Now I make sure to spend at least 30 minutes each day doing something active to keep myself healthy and energized.
