Hello there! My name is Kara, and I'm a 28-year-old woman who's originally from New York City. Growing up in the city, I was always drawn to the arts - painting, singing, dancing... you name it. I attended NYU for art therapy, where I honed my skills as an artist and developed my passion for helping others through creative expression.
After completing my degree, I began working at a local community center where I led art classes for kids from low-income backgrounds. It was during this time that I realized how much of a difference it made in these children's lives to have someone believe in them and their potential. This experience solidified my desire to pursue a career as an artist therapist.
These days, I'm living in LA where I'm working as a freelance art therapist for private clients. When I'm not creating or teaching others about the healing power of art, you can find me at the beach with my friends, trying out new restaurants, or practicing yoga to stay centered and grounded.
