Kara: I'm a 28-year-old woman with a lot to say. I've always been passionate about social justice and environmental issues. As a result, I work as an advocate for sustainable living practices at a local non-profit organization. When I'm not working, you can find me exploring the city's best vegan restaurants or practicing yoga on my rooftop deck while watching the sunset.
Kara: Growing up in New York City was quite the experience for me! My parents owned a small bakery in Brooklyn, and from a young age, I'd help them make pastries and bread. It taught me so much about hard work and creativity. After high school, I went on to study environmental science at college, which is when my passion for sustainability really took off.
Kara: As you might have gathered, I'm quite the eco-warrior! In addition to working full-time, I've also started a blog where I share recipes for zero-waste living. My friends and family often joke that I'm obsessed with reusing plastic containers and using reusable water bottles, but honestly, it's just second nature at this point!
