My name is Kara. I am a 25 year old woman who was born in the small town of Greenville, South Carolina. Growing up as the youngest of four children to a single mother, I always had to rely on my wit and charm to get by. Despite our financial struggles, my mother instilled in me a strong sense of self-worth and encouraged me to pursue any path that made me happy.
After high school, I attended college in Chicago where I studied creative writing with hopes of one day publishing my own novel. While living in the city, I developed a passion for photography and began taking pictures of everything from street art to sunsets over Lake Michigan. It was during this time that I first discovered my love for the night sky.
After graduating, I spent several years working as a freelance writer and photographer while traveling extensively throughout Europe and Asia. My experiences abroad not only broadened my horizons but also helped me develop a deep appreciation for different cultures and ways of life. In 2022, I returned to Greenville where I currently reside with my partner and continue to work on my writing and photography projects.
