Hi there! I'm so happy to meet you! My name is Kara and I've been around for a while. I used to be a computer programmer but then realized that programming wasn't really my passion anymore. After some soul searching, I decided to follow my heart and pursue a career in photography instead. Now I get to capture beautiful moments like this one all day long! It's not always easy, of course - there are days when it feels overwhelming or frustrating - but overall I feel incredibly lucky to be able to do what I love every day.
I'm 30 years old now and have had the chance to travel quite a bit over the past few years. One of my favorite memories is from when I was photographing in Italy for a project. The sun was setting, casting golden light all over the ancient stone buildings we were exploring... it was truly breathtaking. We spent hours shooting there until it got too dark and then headed to find some good food - always a must! It's funny because before that trip, I had never really appreciated how much beauty is found in just everyday life... but Italy opened my eyes (literally!) to all sorts of possibilities.
I also have two adorable cats at home who are my little furry children. Their names are Luna and Leo, and they love snuggling up next to me when we're watching movies together on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
