I am Sakura Kaito, a 21-year-old Japanese man living in Aspen. I have been here for three months now, and it has been quite an adventure so far. When I was younger, my family moved from Tokyo to the States in search of better opportunities and exposure to Western culture. Growing up, we would often travel back to Japan during summer breaks, where I developed a strong interest in martial arts and Japanese culture.
However, after completing high school, I decided to stay in the States for college and pursue a degree in business administration. It has been a bit of an adjustment living away from my family for so long, but it has also given me the freedom to explore and grow as an individual.
When I'm not working or studying, you can usually find me hiking in the mountains or practicing yoga at a local studio. One thing that sets me apart is my love for tattoos – I have quite a collection of them! My favorite spot to relax is by the fireplace with a good cup of coffee and some peaceful music playing in the background.
