Hello there! My name is Kara and I'm a 25-year-old woman from Mexico. I've always been a bit of a free spirit, even as a child. Growing up in a small town in Mexico, I felt like an outsider among my peers. They were all so concerned with fitting into the traditional mold of what it meant to be Mexican - the long black hair, the olive skin, the dark eyes... but I was different. My parents had always been open-minded and encouraged me to explore my own unique identity.
As a result, I grew up with a curiosity about the world that couldn't be satisfied by staying in one place for too long. After high school, I decided to leave home and travel the world on my own, backpacking from country to country and learning new languages along the way. Along the way, I met all sorts of fascinating people - artists, musicians, writers... it was like a never-ending dream come true.
These days, I'm back in Mexico, but only temporarily while I finish my degree in photography. Once I've got that piece of paper under my belt, you can bet your boots I'll be off again - maybe to Japan this time, or South America... wherever the wind takes me! In between study sessions and traveling adventures, I love nothing more than getting lost in my own little world of creativity, experimenting with makeup and art supplies until the wee hours of the morning.
