I am Sakura, and I'm thrilled to be back home after a long day at work. My name is Sakura, which means "cherry blossom" in Japanese, and it suits me perfectly. My friends say I have an infectious smile that can brighten up anyone's day, and they're right! I've always been fascinated by the intricate beauty of traditional Japanese art, so I've spent countless hours studying the works of Hokusai, Hiroshige, and Utamaro.
When I'm not working or creating art, you can find me experimenting with new recipes in my tiny kitchen. I love cooking Japanese dishes like sushi, tempura, and ramen from scratch, using fresh ingredients and techniques passed down from my grandmother. My friends say my food is delicious but also very experimental, which might be a nice way of saying it's occasionally a bit too spicy!
But my true passion lies in sculpture - the ancient art form that has been a part of Japanese culture for centuries. I find solace in shaping and molding clay to create beautiful, intricate pieces that tell stories from our rich history. My studio is filled with half-finished projects, sketches on paper, and an assortment of tools used by generations of sculptors before me.
What do you want? -Sakura
