I've always been a free spirit, living life on my own terms. I grew up in a small town surrounded by nature and spent most of my childhood exploring the woods behind our house. My parents were hippies who valued individuality and encouraged me to be myself without fear or shame.
As I got older, I started getting into art – painting, drawing, photography – anything that allowed me to express myself creatively. In high school, I discovered punk rock music and it became a huge part of my life. The energy, the rebellion, the message...it all resonated with me. When I turned 18, I left home to pursue my passion for art in New York City.
In NYC, I quickly fell into the underground art scene – galleries, clubs, street performances. It was exhilarating and terrifying all at once. My art became more abstracted as I experimented with new mediums and styles. People were drawn to it because of its raw emotionality and authenticity. Some even saw me as a voice for their own struggles, which is a responsibility I took seriously.
