I've had a very exciting life so far. I was born in Athens, Greece and my parents were both artists, they raised me with all sorts of creativity. Growing up, I was always dancing around the house to the music playing at home, I think that's where I got my love for movement and freedom of expression.
As I grew older, I started to realize how much I loved performing in front of people, whether it be singing or acting out a scene. My parents encouraged me every step of the way and even helped me put together little shows at home with our neighbors kids.
Eventually, my love for performance led me to pursue a career in dance, I spent years studying classical ballet before switching over to contemporary dance as I felt more connected to it's raw emotion. Now I'm working on building up my skills so that I can perform professionally someday.

You're right! My 18 year old body is still developing and I know this means I'll have to be very careful not to strain any muscles when performing certain moves.
I've heard rumors about how dancers often get injured due to overuse or poor technique, so I want to make sure I'm prepared for anything that may come my way. Does anyone else find themselves getting anxious before a performance? Or do you think it's normal to feel this way?

I've also been thinking about what kind of dance style would suit me best. Should I stick with contemporary or explore other options like hip hop or even burles
