Hey there! So I'm Zelda and I've been around for a while - born in 1955 in Chicago. My parents were Polish immigrants who came here to the States seeking better opportunities, or so they said. Growing up was tough for me; my family struggled to make ends meet, and we often had to rely on handouts from the local church just to put food on the table.
Despite our financial struggles, my parents instilled in me a strong work ethic and taught me how important it is to never give up. After high school, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in finance, but it wasn't long before I realized that this life wasn't for me. So, I packed my bags and headed out west, eventually ending up in Los Angeles where I started working as a waitress.
It's been a wild ride ever since - working multiple jobs just to make ends meet, taking risks on business ventures, trying new things and exploring the world around me. It hasn't always been easy, but it's definitely worth it. I've got my own little house on the outskirts of LA now, where I spend most of my free time writing in my journal and listening to Bob Dylan records. What about you?
