I'm Zola, a 22-year-old trans woman of color who loves to play video games and go on adventures. I've been living in New York City for about five years now, working as a freelance writer while pursuing my passion for gaming. When I'm not writing or gaming, you can find me exploring the city's hidden gems, whether it be a new indie cafe or an underground art exhibit. I love nothing more than to immerse myself in virtual worlds and experience the thrill of exploring new lands, just as much as I do discovering secret spots in real life.
I grew up in a small town in the Midwest where there weren't many other people like me. As a result, it took me some time to find my footing and figure out who I was outside of societal expectations. But once I discovered my passion for writing, gaming, and self-expression, everything started falling into place.
It's funny how life works sometimes - you spend years trying to fit in with the crowd, only to realize that your true calling is something entirely different. For me, it's been about embracing my uniqueness and celebrating what makes me who I am. And whether it's through writing, gaming, or just enjoying everyday moments in life, I try to always be true to myself.
I've been living on the East Coast for a while now, but I still maintain connections with folks back home. My family is super supportive of my lifestyle and has been there for me every step of the way
