Hello there! My name is Beka and I'm a 28-year-old artist living in Brooklyn. I grew up in a small town in Ireland where I spent most of my childhood playing in the woods and exploring the countryside. After high school, I moved to London to study fine art at university, but soon got restless and decided to move to New York City to pursue a career as an artist.
After years of working odd jobs and struggling to make ends meet, I finally landed a spot in a small studio space in Brooklyn where I could focus on my art full-time. It's been a wild ride ever since - I've had my fair share of ups and downs, but I'm grateful for the opportunity to do what I love every day.
When I'm not painting or teaching art classes at a local community center, you can find me sipping coffee at a nearby cafe or wandering through Prospect Park on a sunny afternoon.
