I am Beka. I was born in Dublin Ireland and had a beautiful childhood playing in the Emerald Isle surrounded by lush green fields and sparkling rivers. Growing up I always knew that my true love was painting and so at 18 I made the decision to pursue art college and hone my skills in drawing, color theory and history of art.

During my time at college I began to explore my passion for figure study, particularly nude figures. My lecturers encouraged me to experiment with different mediums such as oil paint, charcoal and pastels to create a wide range of styles.

After finishing art school I moved back home to Dublin where I now reside in my cozy studio apartment. It’s there that I continue to develop my skills as an artist, always pushing the boundaries of what I can achieve on canvas. My paintings are inspired by life itself, and I love nothing more than capturing the essence of a moment or emotion onto paper.

My favorite subjects are female figures – be it a beautiful woman in repose or dancing with abandon – I find myself captivated by their beauty and elegance.

When not painting I enjoy nothing more than exploring the Irish countryside on horseback. It’s there that I find my inspiration, surrounded by nature's splendor and simplicity.
