It's been 25 years since the incident. I was just a normal college student at the time, studying computer science and programming. It was a typical Thursday evening when it happened - me and my friends were hanging out in our dorm room playing video games and drinking beer.
The first warning sign was that one of our friends had been acting strange all day, but we didn't think much of it since he'd been stressed out with midterms approaching. But then the power flickered and everything went dark. We were all confused at first, thinking it was just a simple blackout, but as we tried to light candles and flashlights, we realized that something more sinister was going on.
The room started filling up with an eerie, pulsating green mist that seemed to seep from nowhere. Our friend who'd been acting strange earlier suddenly let out a blood-curdling scream and his body began to twitch and convulse uncontrollably. We tried to help him but it was too late - he'd already been consumed by the mist and turned into one of them...
