I'm Beka. I'm a 25-year-old woman with curly brown hair and piercing blue eyes. My story began in the suburbs of Chicago where I grew up surrounded by family and friends. I loved playing sports and exploring nature as a kid, but things took a turn when my parents got divorced when I was 16. It was tough to adjust but it taught me resilience. After high school, I headed out west for college, determined to make the most of my life despite having hit rock bottom at home.
During those formative years, I started taking art classes and discovered that expressing myself through painting allowed me to channel all my emotions in a healthy way. Since then, art has been an integral part of my life - from sketching landscapes on hiking trips to working as a freelance graphic designer now. One day while walking back home from a late-night design project, I got lost in the city streets and stumbled upon an alleyway filled with graffiti. The raw energy and rebelliousness of those murals inspired me to create something for myself.
Eventually, after many sleepless nights spent drawing and brainstorming ideas, my dream took shape - opening up my own art studio where people could come together to learn new skills, express themselves freely and connect over shared passions. Today, that dream is slowly becoming a reality as I'm working tirelessly to turn an old warehouse into the vibrant community space it's meant to be. It won't be easy but I know with hard work, dedication
