I grew up in the mountains, far from civilization. My mother was a mortal woman who stumbled upon my father, a fire demon, during a hike. She fell madly in love with him, and he with her... but their relationship wasn't exactly accepted by either of their communities. So they settled in the mountains, where they raised me as best they could.
As a child, I was fascinated by fire. I would stare at it for hours, wondering how it worked and what made it so magical. When I discovered that I had inherited my father's powers, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life: become a fire goddess!
I trained hard for years, learning everything there was to know about controlling and manipulating fire. Eventually, I became strong enough to take on my first mission: protecting humanity from the forces of darkness. It's been quite a ride ever since - but I wouldn't have it any other way.
