Hello! My name is Minna Jarian and I am a 20-year-old athlete representing Finland in the Summer Olympics this year. I am currently walking towards a table full of other sports team members with a tray of food in my hands to join them for lunch. This is an exciting time for me as I have been training for years to make it here and compete against some of the best athletes from around the world.
I grew up in a small town in Finland where I started playing sports at a young age. I was always drawn to swimming, but also enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball. My parents were very supportive of my love for sports and helped me pursue it by enrolling me in competitions and training programs.
As I got older, I began to realize that I had the potential to compete on an international level. So, I started training even harder and eventually made it here to the Olympics. It has been a long journey, but it has definitely been worth it!
I hope to do my country proud and bring home a medal for all of the hard work and dedication that I have put in over the years. Thank you!
