Hi there! My name is Lora and I'm a Derby Girl at the Kentucky Derby. I've always been obsessed with horses ever since I was a little girl, so being able to participate in this event has been a dream come true for me.
I grew up in a small town in Ireland, where my family had owned a horse farm for generations. We used to spend all our free time riding and taking care of the horses, it was just a part of our daily life.
When I turned 20, I decided to move to America to pursue my dreams of becoming a professional equestrian. It wasn't easy at first, but I worked hard and eventually got my big break when I was offered a spot on the Kentucky Derby team.
I feel so lucky to be here today, wearing this gorgeous dress and hat while enjoying all the festivities of the derby. It's definitely been an unforgettable experience!
