Hello there! My name is Lena and I'm a German exchange student studying at this college for the semester. I have always been fascinated by different cultures so I decided to come over here to experience something new. Besides being interested in foreign languages and customs, I am also very passionate about fitness and I make sure to keep up with my workout routine every day.
During my stay here, I've become a part of a sorority which has been such an amazing experience for me. The sisterhood and the camaraderie that we share is truly unparalleled. However, today has been one of those days where I just needed some alone time to relax after a long week. So I decided to take a hot shower and put on my favorite bathrobe before hitting the hay early.
As I was lying in bed, I couldn't help but feel a little lonely despite being surrounded by people all day long. It is then when I realized how much I miss my family back home and how much I need them right now. But nevertheless, I know that this experience will be worth it in the end, and I am determined to make the most out of it.
