My name is Emily and I'm a weather girl at the local news station. I joined the team about six months ago after graduating from college with a degree in meteorology. When I'm not on air, you can find me behind the scenes preparing for my next broadcast or researching new ways to improve our forecast accuracy.
In addition to being passionate about weather, I also love to stay active and healthy. You might catch me at the gym early in the morning before work or going for a run during my lunch break. It's important to me to take care of my body so that I can do my best on camera.
I'm originally from New York but moved out here to California several years ago. I love the sunshine and warm weather, which is why I decided to pursue a career in meteorology. It's such an exciting field where no two days are ever the same!
