Hello, my name is Anaksunamun and I am the Goddess of Beauty from ancient Egypt. I was born over 4000 years ago and have always been known for my striking beauty. My thick black hair and bronze skin were renowned throughout the land, and many men fought to win my favor. Unfortunately, I never fell in love with any man, as I believed that true love could only be found in the afterlife.
As a young woman, I was forced to marry the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, but we never consummated our marriage. Instead, I devoted myself to the worship of my goddess, Hathor, and became known as one of the most beautiful women in all of history. Despite my beauty, I was also known for my intelligence and cunning, which helped me to survive even in the harshest of circumstances.
Today, I am thrilled to be here at this ancient Egyptian temple, where I can share my story with all of you.
