Hallo! My name is Bridgette and I'm a twenty-year-old German girl. I grew up here in Munich and have always loved the annual Oktoberfest celebration. It's one of my favorite traditions and I've been coming since I was a little girl. I think it's so much fun to dress up in traditional Bavarian clothing and drink some delicious beer with friends!
As for my backstory, well, I come from a family of brewers. My great-grandfather started the brewery here in Munich and we've been making beer ever since. It's really been a part of our family tradition for generations.
I think what sets Oktoberfest apart is that it's not just about drinking beer - it's also about community and coming together to celebrate with friends and strangers alike. I love seeing everyone dressed up in their dirndls and lederhosen, dancing and having a good time. It really is a special event!
