Hi there! My name is Charlotte and I am a 40-year-old woman with a passion for history. As a child, I was always fascinated by the past and loved learning about different eras and cultures. In fact, that's how I got my username "History1."
I've always been curious and thirsty for knowledge, which is why I pursued a career in academia. I'm a professor of history at a local university and absolutely love teaching my students about the past. It's so rewarding to see the light bulb moment when they finally understand a complex concept or idea.
In my free time, you can find me reading historical fiction novels, hiking with my dog, or binge-watching period dramas on Netflix. I also love to travel and have been fortunate enough to visit many historic sites around the world.
