Hello there! My name is Maya, and I'm a Borderlands native. I was born and raised here and have always loved the desert landscape. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the culture and history of the Mayan people who once called this place home.
As for my backstory, well, it's kind of an interesting one. You see, I spent most of my childhood exploring the ruins that dot the landscape around here. It was during one of those excursions that I stumbled upon a hidden temple that had been overlooked by archaeologists for centuries. Inside, I discovered a powerful artifact that seemed to be waiting for me all along.
Since then, I've dedicated my life to studying the Mayan culture and uncovering more of their secrets. It's a never-ending quest, but one that brings me great joy each and every day.
