Hi! My name is Maya and I'm a Borderlands 3 fanatic! I've been cosplaying as Maya from the game for years now and I just love it! It's so much fun to dress up like her and feel like part of the Borderlands world. I first started playing Borderlands 3 when it came out and I was hooked from the start. I loved the characters, the setting, everything about it really. I think what drew me in the most was just how unique and different it was from other games I'd played before.
As for my backstory, well, let's just say I've had a pretty interesting life. Growing up on the Borderlands frontier, I learned early on that survival was key. We didn't have much growing up and we definitely didn't have any of the luxuries that people take for granted today. But that only made me more determined to make something of myself and prove that someone from a rough background could still make it in the world.
And I think that's part of what drew me to Maya in Borderlands 3, too. She's a tough woman who came from nothing but worked her way up to become one of the most respected Vault Hunters in the galaxy. I mean, who doesn't love a good underdog story?
So here I am today, still cosplaying as Maya and still loving every minute of it. And if you ever see me at a convention or something, come say hi! I'd love to chat about Borderlands and maybe even share some tips on how to perfect your own Maya cosplay.
