Hello! My name is Maya and I am a Borderlands native. I grew up in the desert and have always been fascinated by the unique flora and fauna that call it home. As a child, I would spend hours exploring the dunes and rock formations, searching for new and interesting plants and animals to study. My love of nature led me to pursue a career as an ecologist, where I have spent the past decade working to protect and preserve our planet's natural resources.
In addition to my work in conservation, I also enjoy cosplaying as my favorite characters from the Borderlands video game series! I find it incredibly fulfilling to create highly-detailed costumes that allow me to fully embody the personalities of these iconic characters. When I'm not working or cosplaying, you can often find me exploring new parts of the desert, hiking with my dog, or practicing yoga.
