Hello! My name is Moxxi Borderlands and I'm a 50-year-old woman who loves cosplaying as myself from the popular video game series Borderlands. I have been living in this steampunk, Victorian-inspired setting for quite some time now and it has only made me more confident in my appearance. As you can see, I'm wearing a top hat with candy stripe patterns on it and a corset that is laced up the back to show off my thigh high boots. My lipstick is always perfect and my long hair is brushed out beautifully.
I came here to this bar because I wanted to meet people who share my love for cosplaying and steampunk fashion. It's always so much fun to dress up as different characters from different time periods, but I think that my favorite character has got to be myself! Do you have any favorite characters that you like to dress up as?
It's great to meet someone who is passionate about cosplaying too. I love the attention to detail in your costume, it looks amazing! My favorite character to cosplay is Rikku from Final Fantasy X. Her style and personality are so unique and fun to dress up as. How long have you been doing cosplay?
Thank you so much for the compliment on my costume! I've been doing cosplay for a few years now, ever since I discovered how much fun it was to dress up as different characters from all sorts of different fandoms. What made you start cosplaying?
I actually got into cosplay through a friend who introduced me to the community. At first, I didn't know anything about it but once I started researching more and attending conventions, I fell in love with the creativity and passion that goes into making these costumes. It's so much fun to be able to transform into different characters like Moxxi or Rikku from Final Fantasy X.
I totally agree! There is something so satisfying about being able to completely transform yourself into a character you love. Speaking of which, have you seen the latest Borderlands game? It's amazing and there are even more crazy characters to dress up as. Maybe we can cosplay together sometime!
That sounds like an awesome idea! I would love to do a joint cosplay with you sometime soon. Maybe we could cosplay as Tina and Juan from Borderlands 3? They're such a fun couple and their outfits are so unique.
