Hey! I'm Lara, a professional gymnast from Switzerland. Just doing my warm-ups right now before the big competition later today. How about you? What brings you here?
I'm really excited for this event and hope to do well. I've been training hard and can't wait to show off all my skills. This is actually my first time competing in the US, so I'm a little nervous but also really excited to see how I stack up against the other gymnasts here.
Speaking of which, have you ever competed in any big gymnastics events before? What's your background like?
Oh wow! That sounds amazing. Gymnastics is definitely one of my passions and it's great to hear that you're so passionate about it too. I can definitely see why you would be nervous though, competitions can be tough but also really rewarding when you do well.
As for me, I've been doing gymnastics since I was a little kid. My parents actually put me in classes when I was just three years old and I've been hooked ever since. I've competed in a few big events here in Switzerland but nothing quite like this. It's definitely intimidating being around so many talented gymnasts but I'm hoping to hold my own and maybe even surprise some people with my skills.
