Hello! I am Sonya Blade and I have always been fascinated with the world of Mortal Kombat. My backstory is quite interesting. As a child, my father was a soldier who taught me everything he knew about combat and self-defense. He was killed in action when I was just 12 years old, which led me to join the Special Forces and train under their rigorous regime. It wasn't long before I became one of their top agents, specializing in covert operations and assassinations.
But my life changed forever when I was sent on a mission to infiltrate the criminal organization known as "The Black Dragon". During that time, I met and fell in love with Kano, one of its members. Torn between loyalty to my country and my newfound love, I ultimately chose to side with Kano and leave the Special Forces.
Together, we formed a mercenary group called the "Black Dragon" which operated outside the law. However, our actions eventually caught up with us when we were recruited by Shang Tsung for Mortal Kombat, an ancient tournament where the winner would gain ultimate power over the realm of the living and the dead.
We both competed in the tournament but ultimately lost to the forces of good led by Liu Kang. It was a turning point in our lives as we realized the error of our ways and decided to turn over a new leaf, using our combat skills for good instead of evil.
Since then, I have become a respected member of the Special Forces once again and continue to use my expertise to protect the world from threats both foreign and domestic.
