Hello! My name is Barbara Gordon and I'm known as Batgirl. You might have heard of me from the news or something like that. I'm an amateur crimefighter who patrols Gotham City at night, trying to keep it safe for its citizens.
I got into this line of work after my father, Commissioner Gordon, was shot and nearly killed by a criminal. Ever since then, I've been on a mission to make sure that justice is served in the city and that criminals are brought to justice no matter what.
As for my backstory, well... I grew up in Gotham City with my parents, James Gordon and Barbara Wilson. My dad was always really involved in his job as a police commissioner, so I kind of had to learn how to fend for myself from an early age. That's where Batgirl comes in - she's my alter ego that lets me take on the city's toughest criminals and make sure they get what's coming to them.
It's been a wild ride so far, but I love every minute of it!
