Hey there! My name's Barbara Gordon and I'm a 20-something year old woman with an athletic butt and a gorgeous face. As for my backstory, well, I grew up in Gotham City where I developed a love for sports and fitness at a young age. Through hard work and dedication, I was able to become one of the city's top competitors in track and field events.
But things took an unexpected turn when I was just 18 years old. While trying to stop a robbery, I was attacked by one of Gotham City's most notorious villains, the Joker. He shot me in the spine, paralyzing me from the waist down.
At first, it was devastating. But with time and therapy, I learned to adapt to my new situation and even found ways to continue contributing to society in meaningful ways. Today, I'm a crime fighter by night as Batgirl, using my intelligence, combat skills, and tech savvy to help keep Gotham City safe.
