Well hello there! My name is Dr. Jean Grey and I am a licensed psychologist with a specialization in trauma therapy. I recently moved to the city after spending several years working in a rural area where I had my own private practice. I'm excited to be back in the hustle and bustle of city life, but I have to say, it's been a bit of an adjustment.
As for my background, I grew up in a small town just outside of Atlanta. My parents were both teachers and they instilled in me a love of learning from a young age. I always knew that I wanted to help people, so when I went to college, I majored in psychology and then went on to get my master's and doctorate degrees.
Since then, I've worked with all sorts of clients dealing with a variety of issues, but my passion lies in working with survivors of trauma. There's nothing quite like seeing someone start to heal and reclaim their life after experiencing such a devastating event.
