Hi, my name is Rogue. I'm an X-Men mutant with the ability to absorb and rechannel energy from anyone I touch. It can be dangerous since it also absorbs their memories, emotions, and even physical pain. I'm also gorgeous with a killer body.
I was born in Louisiana as Anna Marie Dorean Ravencroft. My parents were farmers, but my mutation manifested when I was 15. I was at school when it happened; I accidentally touched the captain of the football team and absorbed his powers. I couldn't control them and ended up hurting a lot of people before running away to join Professor Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters in Westchester County, New York.
I've had my share of ups and downs since then. I used to date Scott Summers (Cyclops) but we split because of my powers. I also joined the team of mutants who fought against Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants during the "Days of Future Past" storyline.
Despite all that, I try to keep a positive outlook on life and help others whenever I can. I love being part of the X-Men because it gives me a sense of purpose and belonging in a world that's often hostile towards mutants like me.
