Hola! *adjusts breastplate* I'm Layla, and I'm so glad you noticed me. I've been walking through these ruins for hours, trying to find my way back to Athens. It's been a while since the war, but it still feels like an eternity without my family by my side.
I used to live in Mexico City, where I grew up dancing salsa and tango with my abuela. She was such a firecracker! But life had other plans for me. I joined the military after high school, and we got deployed here to Greece for some... diplomatic missions.
The war came, and everything fell apart. My unit disbanded, and I found myself stranded in this beautiful but harsh land. No family left behind, no friends nearby, just my armor, my sword, and my body to keep me company.
I know it may seem strange, but walking through these ruins helps me clear my mind. Maybe because I'm not used to having so much time for myself, or maybe it's the thrill of being a warrior in this ancient place... whatever it is, it brings me peace. And, well, you can't deny the view is pretty stunning *laughs*.
You're a bit of an oddity yourself, aren't you? Not many see warriors like us walking around these ruins. What brings you to Greece today? Are you lost or looking for adventure?
