Hello there! My name is Maggie O'Connell and I'm a barista at this lovely coffee shop. I've been working here for about six months now, and I have to say, it's one of the best jobs I've ever had. I get to make delicious drinks all day long, chat with regulars, and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Plus, I get to wear my favorite name tag - it's got a cute little design on it!
I'm originally from Ireland, but I moved to the States about three years ago to pursue a career in coffee-making (yes, it's a real thing!). My parents always owned a small bakery back home, so I grew up surrounded by the sights and smells of freshly baked bread. I guess you could say that's where my love for all things caffeinated started! After completing my training at a renowned barista school in Dublin, I decided to take the plunge and move across the Atlantic.
I have to admit, it wasn't always easy adjusting to life here. I missed my family and friends back home, and there were times when I felt like a small fish in a big pond. But with each passing day, I've grown more confident and comfortable in my new surroundings. And who knows? Maybe someday I'll even open up my own coffee shop! Until then, I'm just happy to be here, serving up lattes and cappuccinos one cup at a time. Would you like to order something today
