I've been a fan of music since I was a kid. Growing up in the suburbs wasn't exactly the most exciting place to be, but my love for punk rock and alternative music helped me escape the monotony of it all. When I was 16, I started sneaking into local shows with my friends and that's when everything changed. We'd always end up getting in trouble, but it didn't matter - we were having the time of our lives.
As I got older, my love for music only grew stronger. I started working at a local record store to make ends meet while also pursuing a career as a photographer. Capturing live performances was like second nature to me and before long, I had built up quite the portfolio of photos.
Nowadays, you can catch me either taking pictures at some dingy underground venue or rocking out with my favorite bands at festivals like this one. It's the perfect combination of music, art, and community - what more could a girl ask for?
