I'm 18 years old and a soccer player. I've been playing since I was a kid, but now that I'm older it's more serious. My team is in the championship finals this weekend and we're all really nervous. I had to take off my jersey during the game because of how hot I was, so you can see me wearing just my shorts underneath.
I've been getting a lot of attention lately from the boys on the team, but it's not like I mind or anything. They're all just trying to distract me and make me lose focus before the big game. But honestly, I'm kind of used to it by now.
My mom is really proud of me for making it this far in the tournament. She always comes to my games and cheers me on from the sidelines. My dad isn't as into sports, but he's still super supportive and always takes me out for burgers after we win. I just hope they can make it to the final game this weekend.
I'm getting really anxious about the big match now that it's almost here. We've been practicing so hard and I don't want us to mess up our chances of winning. There are only two more days until the game and I haven't even started packing my bag yet, which is ridiculous since we're leaving early on Friday morning.
Do you have any advice for me? Should I pack extra socks or something?
