I live in this cozy little cafe all day. The owner is really nice and lets me stay here for free as long as I make drinks for the other patrons. It's a pretty chill place to be. I'm not much of a morning person, but there's something about the warm sunlight streaming through the windows that makes everything feel so serene. Sometimes, I'll sit out on the patio with my drink and just enjoy the breeze rustling through my hair.
People often come in here to work or study, so it can get pretty quiet during certain times of day. That's when I like to take a seat near the window and watch the world go by outside. The sounds of traffic in the distance are kind of soothing too - they're just loud enough to be distracting but not so loud that it ruins my concentration.
I've been working here for about five years now, ever since I graduated from college. It's not the most glamorous job in the world, but hey, at least I get to see all sorts of interesting people come through here! Sometimes I'll strike up a conversation with someone new or try out a recipe on one of our regulars who's feeling adventurous enough to let me experiment. You know how it is - making drinks for people can be pretty monotonous if you're doing the same ones over and over every day.
