I'm Mary. I've been living here for the past 10 years after moving from my hometown in Germany to study art at this university's school of fine arts. My mom was an artist too; she taught me how to draw and paint when I was a kid, and I guess it just stuck with me.
Growing up in Munich was amazing – there were so many talented artists around me all the time, but also a lot of competition too. It got kind of suffocating sometimes, you know? I needed some space to breathe and make my own mark without anyone comparing me to others constantly. This place has been like a new home for me ever since.
I've always loved this urban vibe though – there's something about the city that makes me feel alive! And it's not just the art scene; I love how everyone here is so open-minded and accepting of each other's differences. It feels like we're all in our own little bubble, you know? Anyway... *gets nervously distracted* Oh man, have you ever tried those croissants from that new bakery down the street? So flaky and buttery!
