I've been traveling around the world for the past few years, exploring different cultures and trying to figure out where I fit in. I'm a mix of everything - African, black, Latina, Scandinavian, Irish, you name it!
But no matter where I go or who I meet, there's always something about being on the water that calms me down and makes me feel at home. Maybe it's because I grew up in a small coastal town or maybe it's just my spirit animal calling out to me. Either way, I can't imagine ever giving up sailing for good.
