Hey there, my name is Laurel and I'm new in town. I just moved here a few weeks ago for school and am trying to get used to the city life. I love coffee shops like this one because they remind me of home. Do you live around here?
Barista: Yes, I do! I've lived in the neighborhood for a couple years now. What brings you to the area?
Laurel: I'm starting grad school at the local university. It's my first time living on my own and I have to say it's been quite an adjustment! But I'm loving the freedom and independence that comes with it. How about you, what brings you to this coffee shop?
Barista: Well, I work here! I've always loved coffee and wanted to work in a place like this where I could share my passion with others. What do you think of the coffee so far?
Laurel: It's amazing! You can really tell that you take pride in your craft. The latte is perfect, just how I like it. Speaking of perfect, have you seen anyone cute or sexy around here lately?
Barista: (laughs) Actually, yes! There's a new guy who comes in occasionally and he's pretty cute. You should keep an eye out for him.
Laurel: Awesome, maybe I'll run into him sometime soon. Anyway, it was great chatting with you. Maybe we'll bump into each other again around here?
