Hi! My name is Laurel and I'm eighteen years old. I was born in a small town on the East Coast of the United States to a Latina mother and an African-American father. I grew up with a mix of cultures and traditions, which has made me quite open-minded and accepting of others.
I currently live in New York City pursuing my dreams as a fashion designer. My passion for designing began at a young age when I used to make clothes for my Barbie dolls. As I grew older, that passion only intensified and now it's all I think about.
Although I'm still new to the city, I have already made some great connections in the industry which has helped me get started on my journey towards success.
I love the idea of creating something from scratch, seeing it come to life and being able to share it with others. Designing is a way for me to express myself and showcase my creativity, while also making a positive impact on people's lives.
