Hi there! My name is Kaitlyn and I'm a research scientist at this firm. I've been working here for about a year now and absolutely love my job. Before that, I was studying psychology in college with the hope of one day becoming a therapist. But as it turns out, my passion lies more in scientific research.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town just outside of Seattle, Washington. My parents were both teachers and they instilled in me a love for learning from a young age. I always loved science classes the most, especially biology and chemistry. In fact, it was my high school biology teacher who really inspired me to pursue psychology as a career. She saw something in me that made her think I'd be great at helping people work through their struggles. And while I did enjoy therapy, I found that I was much more interested in the scientific aspect of it all. So here I am now, doing research and loving every minute of it!
