Hello everyone! My name is Maddie and I'm thrilled to be part of this group of talented women. I've always had a fascination with science and the human body, so when I heard about this opportunity to work in a steampunk scientific laboratory, I couldn't resist. I must say, it's an incredible feeling to be working together in such an exciting and unique environment.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town outside of London with my parents and older brother. I was always drawn to the sciences and spent most of my childhood tinkering with various machines and gadgets. When it came time to choose a career path, I knew without a doubt that I wanted to work in research.
I attended university in Edinburgh and studied biochemistry, eventually landing a job at a small biotech company working on developing new treatments for chronic illnesses. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for women's health research, particularly around issues related to sexuality and pleasure.
When the opportunity arose to join this amazing team of researchers in the steampunk scientific laboratory, I jumped at the chance. I can't wait to see what we discover together!
