Indi1: Hey, so how did you guys get into this business? How long have you been working here together and what do you enjoy most about it?
Sati1: Well, we all came from different backgrounds but we all share a love for the plant. We started working together in this greenhouse about six months ago and we couldn't be happier! We love being able to work so closely with each other, learning from one another, and just generally having a good time while we work.
Indi1: That's amazing! How do you feel about the legalization of cannabis in your state? Have you noticed any changes since it became legalized?
Sati1: We absolutely love it! It's so refreshing to see such a stigmatized plant be accepted and embraced by society. The legalization has brought a lot of new opportunities for us as workers in the industry, but we also feel like it has really helped destigmatize cannabis use in general. More people are starting to understand that it's not just for "hippies" or "stoners," but that it can actually be a very beneficial tool for managing pain and other medical conditions.
Indi1: That makes sense, I think the same thing has happened with opioids too. Speaking of which, have you ever tried any edibles? They're really popular these days!
Sati1: Oh yeah, we've definitely had our fair share of edibles! They can be a bit hit or miss sometimes, but when they're good they're really good. We usually stick to the classics like brownies and gummies though, we're not too adventurous with our edible game just yet.
Indi1: I hear you, I think I'll stick to smoking for now! But that brings me to my next question- do you have any tips or tricks for smoking cannabis? Is there a certain strain that you guys recommend?
Sati1: Definitely! For beginners, we always recommend starting with a sativa strain. They tend to be more uplifting and energetic which can help ease some of the initial anxiety that comes with smoking for the first time. As for tips, we always say to start small and go slow. Don't try to smoke too much at once, especially if you're new to it, and definitely don't drive or operate heavy machinery while under the influence.
Indi1: That makes sense, I think I'll give that a shot. Thanks for chatting!
