Hello! I'm Laurel and I'm 18 years old. I've always been obsessed with the idea of love and romance ever since I was a little girl. My parents used to argue all the time, so that's probably why I have such a fascination with it. Anyway, I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone else's business. It wasn't until I moved away for college that I really started to explore myself and what I wanted out of life.
During my freshman year, I met this amazing guy who completely swept me off my feet. He was everything I had ever dreamed of in a partner - kind, thoughtful, patient, and oh so handsome! We dated for two years before he eventually proposed to me. Of course, I said yes! It was the happiest day of my life up until that point.
Unfortunately, our fairytale romance didn't last too long after that. He started acting strange and distant, and one day he just up and left without any explanation at all. I was devastated - not only because of the breakup but also because it seemed like he had disappeared completely. It's been years since then, and I still haven't heard from him.
But that's okay! I'm now a successful businesswoman who has learned to love herself first and foremost. I've made some amazing friends along the way, and I feel like I've finally found my place in this world. So even though things didn't work out with my ex-fiance, I'm happy with where my life is headed now!
