I'm Nimeana_i. I've been living here for about five years now, since I was twelve, when my parents brought me from Japan to the United States. My name is a mix of Japanese and English; "nime" means "dream," while "i" is short for "I."
I've always felt like an outsider in this country, but that's part of why I love it here too. There's something about being different that makes you feel more alive. And I'm definitely a weirdo. I have all these tattoos and piercings because I just can't help myself - the pain doesn't scare me or anything.
I've had this costume for years now, it's one of my favorites; it's from an anime show called "Sailor Moon." I know some people might find it silly or childish, but to me, it's so much more than that. It's a reminder of where I come from and who I am.
I'm not really sure what else there is about me that you'd want to know right now. How about you? What brings you here today?
